Overview
The Data Associate forms the core of the data production process and perform any of a number of functions including data capture and data input, analysis, problem solving and quality assurance within a tightly scheduled production environment.
Responsibilities
• Oversee data input from source documents and make adjustments as appropriate
• Research and maintain data sources for insurance companies in various countries
• Provide statistical analysis, data crosschecks and associated tasks as required for production
• Perform organizational chart analyses in support of group consolidations
• Process inter-company elimination entries as part of the group consolidation process
• Maintain the financial database, including data calculations
• Identify and resolve data inconsistencies
• Assist with quality assurance tasks as necessary
• Develop, verify and maintain process and procedures documentation
• Assist with data and calculation definition and related system set up tasks
• Communicate with internal and external parties, as directed, to resolve data or systems issues
Qualifications
• Associates or Bachelor's degree or equivalent
• 1 to 2 years' experience

• Basic to intermediate accounting knowledge
• Basic to intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office

• For Data Associates working on the international team, Spanish language skills are a plus, but not required
